On behalf of the Center for Studies of Intellectual Property Rights (CSIPR) of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, known as the key research institute of humanities and social sciences in universities by the Ministry of Education and the State Research Institution on IPR protection, we are pleased to invite you to participate at 2007 International Conference on “ IPR Forum: Protection of the Intangible Culture Heritage and IPR”, which will take place from 21 April through 22 April, 2007.
Your presence is essential to the success of this conference and we will appreciate very much if you would make a keynote presentation at the conference.
The alternative subjects at this meeting include, but not be limited to, the following:
I. Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and Intellectual Property Rights
II. Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and Intellectual Property Rights
III. International Protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and Intellectual Property Rights
IV. Protection of the Traditional Culture and Intellectual Property Rights
V. Protection of the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Intellectual Property Rights
VI. Culture Diversity and Intellectual Property Rights
This conference is made up of different sessions. Please let us know what subject you’d like to make the keynote presentation and hereupon we will be planning to invite other presenters and commentators. On behalf of the conference planning committee, we look forward to your attendance at this conference and appreciate your cooperation with regards to the following:
I. Please let us know whether or not you’d like to make a keynote presentation and in which subject you are interested and forward us an E-mail for the confirmation before 15 March, 2007.
II. Please send us your Word-version presentation paper or outline, which shall include Chinese and English abstract, key words and full text, a uniform system of citation, your name/employment unit/communication method (mailing address, zip code, telephone, fax and E-mail).Your paper should be submitted by E-mail to ipr@iprcn.com prior to the deadline of March 30,2007.
III. Please contact us as soon as you receive this invitation letter and confirm your attendance to this conference. We are responsible for all the accommodation and food expenses resulting in this conference. No charge is made on registration and conference materials. We are very sorry that we can’t afford your expenses of airfare from your country to Wuhan.
