May the 9th,2009 Nanhu IPR Forum—international conference on “National IPR Strategy Implement Measures and Performance Evaluation” took its grand opening at the concert hall of south campus of South China University of Technology. The conference, which lasted two days, was initiated by CSIPR of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and jointly hosted by State Intellectual Property Office(SIPO) Coordination Center, Intellectual Property Rights Law Academy under CLS, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, South China University of Technology and “Legal Persons” Magazine Association, inviting experts and scholars from both domestic and abroad, representatives from high schools and institution, as well as the representatives from mass media and government.

During the two days’ conference, the participating guests carried out heated discussion mainly on national intellectual property strategy, regional intellectual property strategy implement and experience, protection on intellectual property, abuse of intellectual property mechanisms, perfection of intellectual property system, intellectual property culture and national intellectual property strategy performance evaluation.
